Summer Tour 2026 Day 47

I got up this morning and joined Greg on the Gator. We headed down to the pier and loaded four 5 gallon buckets full of live lobsters. Then we returned to the restaurant and steamed them. I learned how to tell tge difference between males and females and the difference between hard and soft shelled lobsters. You can only get soft shelled lobsters in Maine because they can't survive the trip elsewhere.

After cooling them down, we went and picked up fresh picked crab meat from the crab shack. When we returned, I ate 2 whole soft shell lobsters for breakfast. What a life!

I played 6-9 for a small crowd tonight but again met some really great people. Tomorrow we are staying for Sunday Funday. Looking forward to our last day in Maine!
