Summer Tour 2026 Day 16
Today was a really fun day. Kim and I went to K1Speed indoor go cart racing. Those things are fast and badass. They will wear you out though. The girls hung out at the house and had a masseuse come over. Tomorrow we head out on a 2 day camping trip to go catch some Ohio fish.

Summer Tour 2026 Day 14
2 weeks on the tour today. What a great time we are having. I love seeing my friends and meeting new ones. I really love seeing America. In case you were wondering, everybody is just like you. Doesn't matter what state you are from. Somehow all Americans seem to have the same spirit. A pursuit of happiness. Whatever that might be for them or you. It is the pursuit that makes us American. Today we packed up the RV, the dirt bikes, the guns and the guitars and headed back to

Summer Tour 2026 Day 13
Happy 250th Birthday America! May you see another 250 years. Today started off with Sue's sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs, and hash browns. The perfect thing to suck up yesterday's alcohol intake. Later on, we went to Papa Boos on Buckeye Lake for some lunch. The place was rocking with a full band and more pontoon boats than I've ever seen in one place. We got back to the house and ate ribs. I am going to be 200lbs when this tour is over. Lol Later in the night we fired of

Summer Tour 2026 Day 12
Today was the big party in Ohio. It was so hot here. A feels like temp of 108. We got to meet alot of new people today. Generations of middle Americans ranging from 5 to 87. We had all kinds of food and drinks, and bunch of us got to shoot off about 2000 rounds of various ammunition at the gun range on the property. I played a couple hours of music after the sun went down and got to introduce a whole new group of people to my music. So very happy to be here with these fine A

Summer Tour 2026 Day 11
As the sun finally disappeared tonight in Ohio, the fire flies put on a beautiful show for us. What a gorgeous place rural Ohio can be. Life has alot to look at when you slow down enough to focus. Looking forward to the party tomorrow. Can't wait to play "Skunkberry Larry" in Ohio for the first time. Im sure it will be a memorable day. I also hit a tree today on a dirt bike. Square in the shoulder. The tree and me are both fine. Lol Talk to you tomorrow.

Summer Tour 2026 Day 10
Today, Kim and I, had to go to the farm to finish up some work. We stopped and got an awesome sub at the local pizza shop first. Then went to finish up the work. We had to run back into town to get some large wire nuts at the local hardware store. So we parked by the back of the store and were walking to the front door. 5 young girls in bathing suits came skipping down the sidewalk with cups of ice-cream in their hands. The girl in the back of the pack said, "we are going t

A whole Lotta hanging out in Ohio. Me and Kim spent most of the day at the farm in Somerset. Getting a few things ready for the party on Friday. The girls spent a good part of the day lounging by the pool. Then Kim and I took the dirt bikes out of the trailer and ran through a bunch of fuel on the trail around the farm. FUN!! We got back to town and had the best Mexican food and few cervesas and some tequila. Happy Tuesday everyone!

Summer Tour 2026 Day 8
We bid farewell to Tennessee, Sandy, Ted, and Frankie Bananas this morning around 8am. Thanks for everything! 1 detour, 1 Waffle house stop and 6 1/2hrs later we made it to Ohio! Sidenote....... driving through Tennessee and Kentucky is pretty fun to guy who lives in flat Florida. Lol Anyways, we made it to Kim and Sue's house in Westerville. Their doggy, Ryder, was so happy to see us he almost jumped over the gate. So good to be here in the Hotel Hamilton. We unloaded th

Summer Tour 2026 Day 7
Today was lake day! We packed a cooler and headed off to Percy Priest Lake where Ted has his boat docked. A beautiful spot with no houses allowed to be built on it. We ran a short drive to a quiet spot and dropped anchor. We spent a few hours in the water floating around, smoking around and me realizing I'm getting too old to do backflips. At least good ones lol. After that we went back to the dock and got some lunch at the lakeside restaurant. By the time we got back to Te

Today we got up late. Drank some coffee and smoked some weed on the front porch. Then I played a few songs for Ted like old times. We went into Clarksville to grab some burgers for lunch and then headed back to the house to get ready for the show at 5pm. The weatherman said rain all night so we were a little skeptical for the show. Well it didn't rain. As a matter of fact, it was blazing hot. I set up at the Mud Cats Tiki bar and started my set. The place just kept getting

Summer Tour 2026 Day 5
It's was Ted's birthday today and we all knew it was gonna be a long one. We started off with a beer at the local Tiki bar called Mud Cats, where ill be playing tomorrow night. The owner, Andrew, served us before he opened up at 9am. Then we headed for town and ended up eating at a restaurant in Nashville called Hawkers. An Asian fusion place that was really, really good. Then we started down Broadway in downtown Nashville. What a place. We frequented many old honky tonks tha

Summer Tour 2026 Day 4
We left Dothan, Alabama around 8am and headed north to Tennessee. Alabama is a gorgeous state. A true gem of thesouth. We encountered alot of road construction and speed limit fluctuations along the way, but all in all, an enjoyable ride. We crossed the state line into Tennessee and the scenery just got prettier. While approaching Nashville, our driving app said there was an accident up ahead and if we take a suggested detour, we could save 17 minutes. What a crock of shi

Summer Tour 2026 Day 3
We kissed my mom and said goodbye to Port St. Lucie this morning around 8:30. Our first scheduled stop is in Chapmansboro, Tennessee. Our friend, Ted's, birthday is on Friday but we want to get there a little earlier than that to catch up and see some of his neck of the woods. So we headed north today. I love North Florida and it's scenery. What a beautiful part of the state. We decided to avoid the recommended route through Atlanta and drive to Tennessee via Alabama inste

Summer Tour 2026 Day 2
Tuesday was an easy going day. We went out to breakfast with my mom and had alot of laughs. My wife and I went to Walmart to get a notebook for me to write in while on our trip and I got some new socks. I know ow that doesn't sound exciting, but since there isn't a Walmart in the Keys, it was at the very least interesting. We walked in the entrance and there was a woman wearing some spandex shorts that she should've gotten rid of about 8 years or 80 pounds ago. Anyways, Walma

Summer Tour 2026
Day 1 We left Marathon this Daymorning around 8 and arrived at my mom's house in Port St. Lucie around noon. My daughter came over with my grandson and youngest grandaughter for a few hours to see us. We sure do miss them when we are home in the Keys. My grandson is 5 and he told that next time I see him, he will know how to cast a spinning reel. Lol seems that fishing bug is genetic. I asked my granddaughter to pick out a sticker on my guitar case that she wanted and I would
